Terms of sale and artwork licence
Last updated 19 October 2026
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to all purchases from Christian Artists (christianartists.co.uk). They explain how buying works and what you may do with the artwork once you have downloaded it. By placing an order you agree to these terms. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. What we sell
We sell digital Christian artwork as downloadable files. Each artwork is offered in A5 and A4 sizes, and each purchase includes a print-ready PDF and a high-resolution JPEG. We do not send physical prints; printing is arranged by you, at home, through a print shop or through a print-on-demand service of your choice.
Our artwork is created digitally with AI image-generation tools, then checked and prepared for print. Previews on the website carry a light watermark; the purchased files do not.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any bundle discount is applied automatically in your basket and shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
Payment is taken by card through Stripe, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, or through PayPal. We do not see or store your card details. Your order is accepted once payment has been confirmed.
3. Delivery of your downloads
Once payment is confirmed, your files are available to download immediately and we send an email containing your download links to the address you provided. Please check that your email address is correct at checkout. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us.
Your download links are personal to you. Please do not share them, post them publicly or forward them to anyone else.
4. Your right to cancel
At checkout you consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download starts. Our refund policy explains this in more detail, together with what happens if a file is faulty, corrupt or incorrect, or if you buy the same item twice.
5. Your licence to use the artwork
All rights in the artwork remain with Christian Artists. When you buy a piece, you do not buy the copyright; you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it as set out below.
Personal use
Individuals may download, print and display the artwork for personal, non-commercial use, for example in your own home, or to give a printed copy as a personal gift. You may reprint it as often as you reasonably need for these purposes, such as replacing a faded print.
Church and school use
A church, school or similar organisation that buys artwork may print and display it within its own buildings and in non-commercial worship and teaching settings, such as services, prayer rooms, Sunday school and classroom displays.
What is not permitted
Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, you may not:
- resell, share, give away or redistribute the digital files, in whole or in part;
- upload the files to file-sharing sites, shared drives that others can access, or social media in a way that allows them to be downloaded;
- print the artwork for sale, or sell printed copies;
- use the artwork in merchandise, products for sale, logos, trademarks or branding;
- claim the artwork as your own work.
If you would like to use our artwork in a way not covered here, please ask us through the contact page before doing so.
6. Colour and printing
Colours vary between screens, printers, inks and papers, so your printed artwork may not look exactly like the image on your screen. These differences are normal and are not a fault in the file. We are not responsible for the quality of printing carried out by you or by third-party print shops or print-on-demand services, or for any costs you pay to them. Our guide on how to print your artwork offers practical advice.
7. Accuracy
We take care to describe each artwork accurately and to quote scripture correctly in the King James Version. If you notice an error, please let us know and we will correct it.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for supplying files that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by your own device, software or printer. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
